Ozge Doganay was graduated in Dentistry at the Yeditepe University, İstanbul, Turkey, in 2011. By entering National examination for specialty in the field of Dentistry held in 2012, she gained the opportunity to be a resident in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Faculty of Dentistry, at İstanbul University, İstanbul, Turkey; and received her specialty degree in 2017. In 2017, she was also granted the diploma of healthcare management at Faculty of Business Administration, Health Management of Anadolu University, İstanbul, Turkey. After clinical training in surgery, she worked as a clinical academician for six months in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Faculty of Dentistry, at Bezmialem Vakif University, İstanbul, Turkey; and then, she was appointed Assistant Professor at the same University in February 2018. In 2019, she received an international award from International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS) and, visited the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, University of Illinois and Northwestern Memorial Hospital at Chicago, USA for three months. She published seven articles in peer-reviewed international journals indexed in SCI and SCI-expanded, and presented several reports in international and national conferences. She has written three reviews and two book chapters. She has special interest in perioperative management of anticoagulant and antiplatelet therapy, nerve reconstruction, dental and zygomatic implants, hard and soft tissue augmentations and orthognathic surgery.
